Sweet Sour Sauce 17

Sweet and Sour Sauce
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup unsweetened pineapple joice
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
In a small saucepan combine brown sugar and cornstarch . Stir in
vinegar, pineap ple juice, green pepper, and soy sauce. Cook,
stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1
to 2 minutes more. Makes about 1 1/4 cups
