Yield: 6 Servings

8 slice Bacon
3 Leeks, sliced (use mostly White)
4 oz Butter
1/2 cup Flour
1 can Chicken broth
1 can Hot water
4 small Potatoes, peeled and diced
2 cup Half and half
Salt to taste
White pepper to taste
dash Of nutmeg


Saute bacon and leeks in a stockpot. Add butter, flour, and cook for 2 minutes.

Stir in water, chicken broth, potatoes, and cream. Add salt, white pepper, and nutmeg to taste. bake at 325F until potatoes are tender,
about 1 1/4 hours. Serve.
