Cabbage Beef Soup
1 pound extra lean ground beef 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 clove garlic, minced 1 onion, medium sliced 1 head cabbage, shredded 1 carrot, diced 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon peppercorns 1 bay leaf 2 cups beef broth 3 cups water 1 green bell pepper, diced 1 red bell pepper, diced 2 tablespoons soy sauce
In big pot, brown meat with olive oil. Add garlic and onion. Drain all fat. Add cabbage, carrot, salt, peppercorns, bay leaf, broth and water. Heat to simmering; cook 10 minutes, til cabbage is tender. Add red and green peppers and soy sauce. Serve at once.
