Cherry Soup

500 g (1 lb) fresh cherries with their stems
3 cups white wine
grated rind 1 lemon
juice 1 lemon
1 cinnamon stick
1/3 cup sour cream
3/4 cup cream
1/3 cup Cherry Advokat liqueur

Stone the cherries and leave to one side. Crack the stones and
put them in a saucepan together with the stalks, wine, rind, juice
and cinnamon. Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes; remove
from the heat and allow to stand for 20 minutes. Strain and pour
the juices into a saucepan; bring to the boil and add the cherries.
cook for one minute then remove from the heat. Pour in the creams
and the liqueur. Stir well, cool and refrigerate. Serve well
chilled. Serves 6-8
