Beef Goulash

1 lb round steak / sirloin steak (diced)
2 - 3 large mushrooms (finely chopped)
1 large onion (finely chopped)
2 tbs oil
salt + pepper
1 cup beef stock
1 tbs plain flour
1/4 cup red wine
garnish

Fry beef cubes in oil until well browned on all sides. Add onion
and mushrooms and fry for a further 1 - 2 minutes. Add salt and
pepper. Sprinkle flour over meat and add in cup of beef stock
stirring well (should thicken). Add in 1/4 cup of red wine and
simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until meat is VERY tender. Sprinkle
garnish before serving.

(Serve with potatoes, noodles and/or a veg table.
