Knephla Soup

8 c chicken broth
1 medium carrot, sliced
2 medium potatoes, diced
salt and pepper
2 stalks celery, diced, opt
2 tbsp butter

Cook all ingredients until tender.


1 3/4 to 2 cups flour
1 tsp.salt
1 egg
1/2 cup of water or milk

Mix together to make stiff dough. Cut with scissors into boiling
soup. Cook for ten minutes or until done.

Heat 1 1/2 c. half and half and add to soup. Serve hot.
