Mushroon Broccoli Chowder

14 oz can chicken broth
5 oz frozen chopped broccoli or 1 cup fresh chopped broccoli
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
2 Tbsp flour
1 1/4 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste
8 oz can whole kernel corn
dash hot sauce
1 Tbsp chopped pimento (optional)
1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Cook broccoli in broth. Set aside. Cook mushrooms and onion in
margarine, blend in flour, salt and pepper, add milk, cook until
thickened. Add corn, hot sauce and pimentos. Heat until hot and
bubbling Sprinkle cheese over the top and serve.
