Sauerkraut Soup
makes 4 servings
1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
16-oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/2 lb. sauerkraut (or 1 can of sauerkraut)
salt and pepper to taste
1 loaf French or German bread
Prepare dried onion soup as directed on the box. Add the stewed
tomatoes. Add sauerkraut and season to taste. Heat until piping
hot. Serve with crusty French or German bread.
