Spinach 03

Spinach Soup
1 bunch spinach
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tbsp fresh cilantro or more
one small onion chopped
4 cups chicken broth
4 cups milk
diced ham, optional
cornstarch
Saute onions and garlic. Put onions, garlic, cilantro, spinach
and broth in blender. Liquify. Heat milk. When hot, add spinach
mixture. Stir well. Thicken using cornstarch to desired thickness
(remember to mix cornstarch in water before adding to soup).
Add desired amount of ham. Salt and pepper to taste (heavy on the
pepper, low on salt).
