Tomato Soup
6 ripe tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
3 cups chicken stock
1 cup milk or cream
Saute the tomatoes in butter until they are tender. Mix the tomatoes
with the soup stock, and simmer for 15 minutes. Run the mixture
through a blender or food processor. Put back into the saucepan
and add milk or cream, heat gently. Serves 4.
