Tortellini Soup with Tuna
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can condensed chicken broth
1/4 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp garlic powder
2 cups fresh or frozen cheese-filled tortellini
1 1/2 cups milk
1 can tuna, drained
1. In a 3 qt. saucepan, combine soup, broth, basil and garlic. Cover; over high heat, heat to boiling.
2. Add tortellini. Reduce heat to low. Cover; cook 10 minutes or until tortellini is tender, stirring occasionally as it may stick.
3. Add milk and tuna, heat through, stirring occasionally. Garnish with parsley if desired.
** I serve cornbread with this dish. My family loves it. If you have picky children you can sprinkle cheddar cheese on top instead of the parsley.
