Toscana Soup

1 1/2 cups spicy Italian sausage links (12) cut inhalf long way
2 medium potato, chopped 1" pieces
1 medium onion, chop
1 1/4 tsp minced garlic
2 cups kale leaves, sliced in strips
2 Tbs Chicken base (Bouillon)
1 to 2 quarts water
1/3 cup heavy cream
6 strips bacon
Parmesan cheese for garnish

Preheat oven ot 300 degrees. Pleace sausage links onto a sheet
pan and bake for 25 minutes or untill done, then cut into 1/2 inch
slices. Place onions and bacon in a large saucepan and cook over
medium heat until onions are almost clear. Add garlic and cook
an additional minute. Add chicken base, water and potatoes. Simmer
for 15 minutes, (or till potatos are soft) add sausage and kale
and cream. Simmer for 4 - 10 minuts more and serve.

Serve garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
