VEGETABLE CHEESE SOUP

3 potatoes, cubed in a small size
3 large carrots, sliced
1/2 package frozen peas
2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour Blend together and add
2 cups milk.

Combine potatoes, carrots, peas, water, salt and pepper. Cook
until tender. Do not drain.

Blend together butter and flour and add milk. Cook until thickened
and add 2 cups shredded cheese. Stir into the vegetable mixture.
