Finnish Summertime Vegetable Soup (Kesakeitto)

5 small new potatoes (250 g)
5 dl water
1 tsp salt
small or half cauliflower head
2 carrots
handful of green peas
1.5 tbs wheat flour
5 dl milk
chopped dill
chopped parsley
1/4 tsp sugar
1 - 2 tbs butter

Brush potatoes well to remove peel. Cube small. Brush carrots
and cube them, too. Boil in salted water for 10 - 15 minutes.
Add cubed cauliflower and peas. Boil for 5 more minutes. Mix
flour with some milk and add to the soup. Heat until soup boils
again. Add rest of the milk, herbs, sugar and butter.

Serve hot with rye bread.
