CALIFORNIA POT ROAST

4 pounds beef rump roast
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1 tablespoon oil
1 onion, chopped fine
2 carrots, sliced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup water
Non-nutritive sweetener, equivalent to 1/2 cup sugar

Dredge meat well in flour, salt, and pepper. Brown in oil in skillet.
add remaining ingredients. Cover; simmer about 4 hours over low
heat.
