Spelt Yeast Bread

3 1/4 cups whole spelt flour
1 pkq. active dry yeast
1 cup water
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg

In a large mixing bowl combine 2 cups of the spelt flour and the
yeast. In a saucepan heat and stir the water, honey, margarine
and salt til warm (120 - 130F). Add water mixture to flour mixture;
add egg. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds.
Beat for 3 minutes on high speed. Stir in remaining flour to make
a soft dough. Cover; let rise till double (45 to 60 min)

Spread dough in a greased 9x5x3 in loaf pan. Cover; let rise till
double (30 - 45 minutes.) Bake in a 375F oven for 25 to 30 minutes
or till loaf sounds hollow when tapped. cover with foil the last
10 min. of baking. Remove from pan; cool.
