Low-Fat Meatballs

3/4 pound ground turkey breast
1/4 pound lean ground beef
4 egg whites
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 onion, minced
1 large can tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 cup uncooked rice
1 can tomato soup
1 can water
3 whole tomatoes, cut up
1 Tablespoon chili powder

In large bowl, combine turkey, beef, egg whites, garlic, and onion.
Mix well. Form mixture into meatballs and set aside. In another
large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; mix well and set
aside. In large nonstick skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs
on all sides; remove from heat. Drain off excess grease and wash
skillet. Return skillet to low heat, place meatballs and sauce in
skillet and simmer for 1 hour; turning meatballs occasionally.
Serve hot.
