Corn Fritters

8 3/4 oz can whole kernel corn
1 1/2 cp sifted all purpose flour
1 beaten egg
milk
3/4 tsp salt

Drain canned corn reserving liuid. Add enough milk to measure 1
cup. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine egg milk mixture,
and corn. Add to dry ingredients, mix until just moistened. Drop
batter from tablespoons into deep hot fat (375 degrees). Fry until
golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Makes 2
dozen.
