Country Scalloped Potatoes

6 medium potatoes
1 medium onion
1/2 pound ham or bacon
1 pound cheddar cheese
1 cup Parmesan cheese
2 cups milk
2 heaping tablespoons flour
salt
pepper
garlic powder
seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 pound butter

Thin slice the potatoes with the skins on. Put a layer on the bottom of a large casserole dish. Next put a layer of thinly sliced onion, followed by a layer of ham and then cheeses. Season each layer with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Continue layers until done ending with potatoes. Add milk down sides of dish. Put bread crumbs on top and then top with butter pieces. Bake in a 350 F oven for 60 to 90 minutes. Potatoes should be fork tender and topping should be browned.
