Oven French Fries
Serves 4

1.5 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut into julienne
1 tbsp corn oil
1/2 tsp salt

Blanch the potatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and leave
to cool for 5 minutes. Put in a bag, add the oil and shake gently
until the potatoes are coated. Place the potatoes in a single layer
on a lightly oiled baking sheet, sprinkle on the salt and cook in
a hot oven for 30 minutess (for thin cut) to 40 minutes (thick
cut).
