Sauteed mushrooms
Slice the mushrooms (not too finely). Chop an onion and fry it stirring often in pre-heated vegerable oil - until just golden. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry everything on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Then add sour cream with salt, pepper and herbs (oregano is good, but it's up to your taste) and chicken or beef stock (half ctock, half sour cream), reduce heat to low and simmer for another 10-15 minutes. When ready, add finely chopped fresh parsley on top and serve hot. Goes well with rice, baked/boiled potatos, omelette, meat dishes etc. If serving as the main course, accompany with medium-dry white or rose wine.
