Scalloped Corn
Serves 6

2 packages frozen corn, thawed
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup whole milk
1 tsp. salt
Pinch of nutmeg
6 tsp. sugar
Pinch of cayenne pepper or to taste
Pinch of white pepper

2 Tbsp soft butter
2 Tbsp flour

Combine corn, cream, milk and seasonings in a medium saucepan and
bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 5-7 minutes uncovered.
Blend the butter and flour together. Gradually drop small pieces
of the butter/flour mixture into the corn mixture mixing well and
cook 2 minutes to thicken. Place in a casserole dish and bake 325
for about 10 minutes.
