Print this Recipe    Vegetable Cassarole

1 pack frozen vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots)
1/2 pound cheese (grated)
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp. flour
1 small onion or 1/2 large (chopped)
1 sweet pepper (chopped)
salt and seasonings to taste (optional)
1 egg (well beaten)
1 stick celery (chopped)
about 8 seasoning pepper (remove seeds and chop)
1 1/2 cup water
1 cup breadcrumbs

Directions:
Boil or steam vegetables until tender (not broken up). In the mean time, in a saucepan mix water and flour thoroughly then bring to a boil,stirring occasionally to prevent it thicken. Add milk then grated cheese, allowing the cheese to melt. Then add chopped onion, sweet pepper,seasoning peppers, celery. Salt and or season to taste. Remove vegetables from the boiler/steamer and add beaten egg, mix thoroughly. Mix sauce into vegetables then add breadcrumbs. Pour into greased pie dish and bake at 300 degrees until light brown on the top and or a tester inserted comes out clean. Enjoy!!! (St Kitts style)
