Separate the cauliflower into small flowers. Remove seeds from chilli peppers, cut into fine strips. Boil the veges for 1 minute. Strain. Chop the onion. Peel the ginger. Heat the oil: Put in the chopped onion then add the ginger, saffron and vegetables. Brown for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the lemon juice. Serve as an accompaniment or an hors-d'oeuvre. This recipe lied in terms of how many people it serves. I prepared it as an accompaniment for a dinner to serve 40 people. Seven times this recipe, while originally said to serve 42 people, was enough to serve over 100. After the dinner, I had three full gallon bags left over. Granted, people did not eat as much as I had expected, but if they had, it still would have been around twice as much as was needed. I've amended it to say it serves 10, but please be aware that this recipe may make more than you expect.
