Print this Recipe    5 c. water

1 tsp. salt
2 1/3 (1lb.) lentils, washed
1 16oz. can tomatoes
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. dried parsley

Bring water to boil in 2qt. saucepan. Add salt and lentils. Simmer for
30 minutes. Do not drain. Add rest of ingredients, and simmer 30 more
minutes. Adjust consistency if needed by adding more water.
