Oatmeal Sausage

2 cups old fashioned oatmeal, not quick cooking
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon poultlry seasoning
2 Tablesspoons corn or canola oil

Mix all ingredients well. Make into fairly thin patties. Fry in
moderate amount of oil until both sides are crispy and brown after
turning. Drain on papertowels.

You might oil your hands if you make the patties by hand.

I made without eggs. As a vegeterian of long long time I think eggs dont come in category of vegeterian. Vegeterianism is essentially not hurting or killing animals(to be animals in case of egg)and hence egg IS NON veg.

I thought this recipe was very easy to prepare, and it really does taste similar in texture and flavor to pork breakfast sausage, without all the fat!
