Open-Faced Sandwich

1/3 cup soy or whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 cups vegetable stock
onion powder
tamari
garlic powder
oregano
basil
Mrs. Dash

Combine flour and yeast in a saucepan on low heat. Stir in the
oil and mix well, then stir in the veggie stock slowly and mix
well. Add spices, let simmer while you chop veggies for next part
of recipie.


1lb mushrooms
4 roma tomatoes
1 lg ripe avocado
1 bunch of cilantro
1/4 cup olive oil
garlic
lemon juice
lime juice
1 loaf of whole grain peasant or french bread, sliced

Preheat oven to 375. Coarsely chop/slice veggies and cilantro.
Dicing the avocado is easier to do if you halve it, and use a butter
knife to dice it while it is still in it's skin, and then peel the
skin off. Add juices and garlic. Mix in a small amount of cheese
sauce, just enough to get everything to stick together. Put sliced
bread on baking sheet, and top with veggie/sauce mixture. Bake
for 6-8 min. If people are really fond of cheese sauce, they can
put more on after it comes out of the oven. Serve immediately.
