Sherried Portobellos

2(6-oz.) pkgs. sliced portobellow mushrooms
2 teaspoons oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1-2 cups cooking sherry
Salt and pepper, to taste

Clean the mushrooms, wiping off any excess dirt around the stems. Saute the garlic in the oil until light brown. Add the mushrooms and sherry. Cook until the mushrooms shrink, then add salt and pepper to taste.

yield: 4 servings
