Tofu Nut Balls

1/2 cup raw brown rice
1 cup water
2 Tbsp tamari soy sauce
a generous 1/2 cup finely-ground almonds
1/2 lb tofu, mashed
1/2 cup wheat germ

Place the rice in a small pan with 1 cup water. Bring to a boil,
cover and simmer about 30 minutes until very soft.

Place between half and all of the tofu into a blender with the soy
sauce and about 3/4 of the cooked rice; and puree.

Mash the rest of the tofu with a fork (if you had put all the tofu
in the blender, the end result would be smoother; it's a matter of
taste) and mix it into the stuff in the blender and all the other
ingredients.

Make the mixture into small rounds and bake in the oven for 30
minutes at 350F.
