Japanese Tofu Dressing

4 oz fresh tofu (silken)
1/4 cup light sesame, canola or safflower oil
1-1/2 to 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
2-1/2 Tbs. brown rice vinegar
1/4 cup water
3 Tbs. mellow miso
1 clove garlic
1 Tbs. rich malt (you can use brown rice syrup or molasses)
1 Tbs. sesame seeds

Place tofu in pot w/ water. boil 1 minute. turn off heat, let set
1 minute, remove from burner. Cool briefly.

Crumble tofu into blender with all ingredients except for seeds.
Blend 'til smooth.

Toast seeds in dry skillet 2 - 3 minutes.

Pour dressing in bowl, mix in seeds, chill slightly.
