Sourdough Pizza Crust
1/2 cup starter
2 cups warm water
2 1/4-2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
In a bowl with plenty of room for rising, mix together starter,
water and flour. Let stand in warm place 4 hours until foamy.
Remove 1/2 c of starter and refrigerate.
To batter add soda, salt and 2 cups flour. Mix in as well as
possible in bowl, then knead 10-15 times on floured bowl (it will
be sticky when you start).
Let rest 15 - 30 minutes, then cut dough in half and spread each
half on/in a greased cookie sheet. Remember to make your edges to
hold in ingredients.
Add toppings, spices, herbs, pickles, whatever.
Bake at 375-400 degress F. for 15 minutes, or until cheese melts.
