Print this Recipe    Spiced Pie Dough

SPICED PIE DOUGH
for a single 9 inch shell

1 3/4 cups flour
1 tbs sugar
1/2 tbs ground cinnamon
1/2 tbs ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cloves
1 1/2 sticks sweet butter
2 egg yolks
2 tbs cold heavy cream ( more if needed )

In food processor with steel blade pulse sugar, flour, spices and
salt. Place in cut up chilled butter pieces around blade evenly.
Pulse until crumbly like corn meal. Mix eggs and cream in another
bowl and pour through feed tube while machine is running until
dough comes together, dont overmix. Remove dough from bowl and
form into a ball. Wrap in plastic and chill a good 30 to 40 minutes.
Or wrap and freeze.

Use dough as desired.
